Die Herstellung sowie der Verkauf von unserem Truly Artisan Eis und Craft Schokolade ist für uns eine Herzensangelegenheit. 2014 wurden wir (nur 1 Jahr nach der Eröffnung) unter Deutschlands Top 10 Eisdielen ausgezeichnet. Gemäß unserem Motto „Stay True“ stehen wir für bewussten Konsum und Nachhaltigkeit. Wir waren die erste Eisdiele in Deutschland, die frische Milch direkt vom Hof bezieht, um einen wirklich fairen Milchpreis zu gewährleisten, ohne Zwischenhändler. Von der Weide bis zur Waffel also! Natürliches Eis nach Hauseigene Rezepturen, ohne Fertigmischungen! Diese Philosophie hat sich auf unsere Schokoladenproduktion übertragen, wo wir seit 2 Jahre preisgekrönte dunkle Schokoladentafeln direkt aus der Kakaobohne herstellen.

True & 12 Handmade Ice Cream is in the heart of Haidhausen near Munich's gorgeous Isar River and a short walk from Marienplatz (right near the S-Bahn station for Rosenheimer Platz)
We make small batch truly artisan ice cream from scratch. Every single day. This past year we expanded our passion project to include a small range of home-made two ingredient bean to bar craft chocolate.
In 2014 just a year after opening, we were awarded one of Germany's Top 10 ice cream shops. But this recognition isn't what gets us out of bed in the morning. We are a family run business: small, personal, imperfect, passionate, dedicated and motivated to grow.
We care a lot about what we do. So much so that we took the hard road. Instead of using convenience products, or ice cream base mixes with instructions, we put the effort into designing all of our own recipes, and sourcing all of our ingredients personally and directly - the most important of which is our pasture raised organic milk from a local dairy farm. Our ice cream, and our chocolate, are all about community.
